Med solig eufori och sfäriska ljudbilder har trion ViVii klivit in som ett av landets mest spännande nya poptillskott. Efter framträdanden på bl.a Way Out West tillsammans med Jonathan Johansson och stora framgångar med låtar som ”Savant” och ”Siv (You & I)” är det nu dags för ViVii att återigen dela med sig av ny musik – både inspelat och live. I dag släpps singeln ”And Tragic” och det står även klart att ett självbetitlat debutalbum ser dagens ljus den 15 mars. I vår besöker de festivalerna by:Larm i Oslo och SXSW i Austin innan det är Sveriges tur, där ViVii gör tre exklusiva spelningar på Pygméteatern i Stockholm, Oceanen i Göteborg och Mejeriet i Lund.
Trion ViVii består av det gifta paret Caroline och Emil Jonsson samt producenten Anders Eckeborn. Med sina esoteriska och varma röster sjunger Emil och Caroline kärlekshistorier mot en fond av luftiga gitarrer och popmusikens mest glittriga och soldränkta hav.
“And Tragic” är första singeln efter framgångarna med “Suckerpunch” som ViVii släppte i oktober. Singeln kammade hem förstaplatsen på Hype machine och har hyllats av skådespelaren Chloë Grace Moretz och fått radiotid på 6Music på BBC av Elbows frontman Guy Garvey och i hyllningskören märks även Earmlik, Indie Shuffle, CLASH och Record of the Day. ViVii debuterade förra året med EP:n “Savant” som innehåller singlarna “Siv (You and I)” och titelspåret “Savant” och totalt har deras låtar redan över 4 miljoner streams på Spotify.
– Vi hade en tydlig idé om vad låten skulle handla om men under skapandet av låten så ändrades det och den tog en annan riktning. Det är så vi önskar att det ska gå till, att låta musiken få ha sin egen vilja. I det här fallet att life både är fun and tragic, säger ViVii.
Liveframträdanden är något som ViVii hittills varit väldigt sparsamma med, och det är därför med stor pepp vi kan berätta att trion i april ger tre exklusiva spelningar på intima spelställen i både Lund, Göteborg och Stockholm. Förutom Sverige-spelningarna så kommer ViVii även spela på festivalerna SXSW i Texas, Eurosonic i Groningen och by:Larm i Oslo.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
