Genom en industrialiserad kvarn av gnisslande gitarrer, förvrängd elektronik, krigsskadad slagverk och demoniskt catchy vokaliseringar har Uniform banat sig en väg till den underjordiska musikens framkant. Trion - Michael Berdan (sång, syntar), Ben Greenberg (gitarr, produktion) och Mike Sharp (trummor) - har med 2020s Shame levererat sitt mest kraftfulla alster hittills. Full av halsbrytande riff, guttural distorsion, perkussiva malströmmar, ångestfyllda ylle och illvilliga skrik mot glömska följer Shame karaktärer som vandrar i en Sisyfoscirkel av existentiell ohälsa dömda att upprepa gårdagens laster utan löfte om en bättre morgondag.
Upptakten till Shame visar sig vara lika fascinerande som alla karaktärernas bedrifter. Uniform föddes 2013 och Uniforms debut LP Perfect World (2015) släpptes på 12XU i USA och ALTER utomlands. Efter dess framgång migrerade de till Sacred Bones. Wake in Fright (2017) följdes av The Long Walk (2018) som befäste deras plats som leverantörer av industriellt buller. Efter att ha turnerat med artister som Deafheaven och Boris slog de sig samman med The Body för ett par samarbetsalbum - Mental Wounds Not Healing (2018) och Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back (2019) - samt liveutgåvan Live at the End of the World (2020).
Medan Shame tematiskt kretsar kring en antihjälte visar albumet att Uniform är både mästare och segrare i att flytta gränser.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
