Examenskonsert, kandidat jazz.
Under sina tre år vid Kungliga Musikhögskolan har den isländske trumpetaren och kompositören Tumi Torfason samlat en särskild palett av tonfärger. Han har studerat musik av Charles Mingus, Wayne Shorter och Kenny Wheeler i skolans ensembler och spelat i KMH Jazz Orchestra under ledning av Kathrine Windfeld, Maggi Olin och Calle Bagge. I sina egna projekt har han utforskat fransk impressionism och arrangemang av Gil Evans till KMHs jazzfestival New Sound Made. För sin examenskonsert har han nu kombinerat influenser från de här tidigare erfarenheterna med sin största passion: komposition och bandledning, där han har skrivit ny musik för eget storband i en ovanlig instrumentering.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
