Tinariwen är ett musikfenomenen från västafrika, som inte bara är en spännande historia utan även mynnat ut i fantastisk musik med stora framgångar i hela världen.
”Vår stil är modern musik i en traditionell anda. Själva idén uppstod 1979, det var första gången någon spelade tuaregmusik med en elgitarr.”
Bandet är ett musikaliskt kollektiv, vars medlemmar tillhör nomadfolket tuareger. De bildades 1982 när de tränades i Muammar Kadaffis militärläger i Libyen inför självständighetsstrider mot Malis regim. 2012 tilldelades Tinariwen en world music-Grammy för skivan Tassili och snart släpps det nionde albumet Amatssou, inspelat i Jack White's studio i Nashwille.
Trots att Tinariwens gitarrbaserade och rytmiska musik, med politiska texter om kamp och frihet, ibland beskrivs som en avlägsen, västafrikansk släkting till amerikansk blues påpekar bandets medlemmar att de aldrig hade hört blues innan de började turnera internationellt. Men deras musik är ingen efterapare, det är en mix av en mängd influenser gjord till något eget – för en gångs skull äkta rebellmusik!//

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
