Idén bakom The Dahmers började som ett löst snack mellan några vänner på en galen halloweenfest 2011. Men redan dagen efter träffades de för första gången i replokalen och inte långt därefter släpptes deras första EP. Bandnamnet tog man efter den ökända seriemördaren Jeffrey Dahmer, vilket går hand i hand med medlemmarnas gemensamma intresse för skräckfilm och fascination för människans mörka sida.
Rent musikaliskt är influenserna många. Man kan höra inspiration från band som Ramones, Thin Lizzy, Beatles, Misfits, Kiss och Black Flag. Resultatet blir energifylld punkig garagerock med catchiga pop-melodier och slamriga trummor. Dessa färgstarka kontraster gör The Dahmers till ett musikaliskt Frankensteins monster.
Skräckorkestern från Bromölla släppte sitt debutalbum “Demons” 2014 och har sedan starten flitigt släppt ut både singlar och EP’s på löpande band. Deras singel “Blood on my hands” knep en plats på P3’s årsbästalista 2016.
2017 släppte bandet sitt andra album “In the Dead of Night” som följdes upp med flitigt turnerade i Sverige och i resten av Europa bland annat som förband åt Millencolin och Against me!. 2018 började med en fullsatt spelning på festivalen Where’s The Music i Norrköping och under våren väntar bland annat en turné i Polen.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
