Kan ett band ha för många gitarrister? För finska Teksti-TV 666 är det en omöjlighet. Utrustade med fyra (ibland fem) gitarrer har detta sexhövdade krautmonster snabbt etablerat sig som en av Finlands främsta liveakter. Stökrock med stort s, röjig psykgarage eller oförutsägbar pulserande krautrock – beskriv dem som du vill. Teksti-TV 666 är oavsett Finlands främsta och kanske mest oväntade musikexport på år och dar. Med tre EP:s och årets debutalbum – den 31-minuter långa energiinjektionen Aidattu tulevaisuus – är Teksti-TV 666 just nu bättre än någonsin.
Bandet är ett projekt byggt på motsägelser. Det är som om Neu! spelade Ramones-låtar, eller ett shoegazeande The Hellacopters. En tung men samtidigt mjuk vägg av skramligt oljud och texter på finska som kan få vilket gammalt punkhjärta som helst på fall. När Festivalrykten såg bandet skrev deras utsände att ”Sverige förtjänar Teksti-TV 666 – det som bandet visade i Tallinn var nämligen ett skolexempel i den ädla konsten av att spela live.” Så sent som i våras besökte de Stockholm och festivalen Åre Sessions där två fullsmetade och omtalade kvällar gjorde det tydligt att bandets resa på svensk mark bara har börjat.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
