Fredagen den 17/5 tar vi en i Sverige ännu så länge ganska okänd artist till Östersund och Jazzköket.
Kanadensaren Jerry Leger , drivs av att skapa nytt i den genre han håller kär. Vi snackar vintage rock, country, soul & blues.
Rejält bevandrade musikaliska stigar men som aldrig kan beträdas för ofta om man gör det till sin egen väg, utifrån sig själv. Det gör i allra högsta grad Jerry Leger.
I hemlandet Kanada är han en snackis numera, välkände artisten Ron Sexsmith säger " One of the best songwriters I've heard in quite some time " Dessutom har Michael Timmins från legendariska Cowboy Junkies tagit honom under sina vingar både som producent , förkämpe samt släpper Jerrys skivor på sitt skivbolag.
Hyllas som rising star av både Rolling Stone och Toronto Star.
Som lokal supportakt har vi äran att presentera: Am Capo 3 , en trio som består av Erika Andersson, Erika Öhnstedt & Elin Nilsson. Americana,country & visor serverade vackert med stil & känsla.
Ja som ni förstår detta kommer att bli en grym kväll.
