Hur skiljer vi på fantasi, humor och en brutal verklighet? Hur tar vi till oss sanningen när alla distraktioner får oss att titta, men inte se?"
Strykjärnet & Döden är en vansinnig och rapp komedi som stryper alla förväntningar. Handlingen kretsar kring Olof (Andreas Scheffel) som fyller år och blir firad av sin gravida fru Viktoria (Anna Nordkvist) och deras gemensamma ovän Frida (Victoria Forsberg). Eller blir han det? Idag verkar allt annat än Olofs födelsedag stå i centrum.
KUST har tidigare tagit sig an alla möjliga sorters pjäser, från surrealism till thriller. De har experimenterat med buskisen och med dramat. De har provat på kända författare och okända. KUST har dock aldrig spelat en helt vanlig komedi.
Strykjärnet och döden är dock inte en helt vanlig komedi men ändå så nära det går att komma. KUST är inte en helt vanlig teatergrupp men ändå så nära det går att komma. En komedi för KUST helt enkelt.
Ursula Fogelström har skrivit pjäsen tillsammans med Patrik Bergner. Den senare har tidigare varit aktuell i KUST-sammanhang då gruppen 2014 spelade hans drama "Visning 23:35"

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
