Stockholm Santa Run / Walk 2019

The fresh white Nordic snow is upon our horizons, soon the sounds of bells and laughter will be carried with the wind to Kungsträdgården, this can only mean one thing. Stockholm Santa Run 2019 has arrived!

Hello and welcome one welcome all to Stockholm Santa Run 2019
The wait is finally over. Now is the time to put on our running boots, Santa hats and feast on the festive delights to make our Santa Bellys nice and round.
Last year we had the pleasure of welcoming over 1400 Santas to Kungsträdgården and together we all raised around A Quarter of a Million SEK for our 3 chosen charities! You guys are awesome!

This year we are aiming to have even more Santas and to raise even more for charity.

Before the run starts there will be performances fr

to musicians and dancers including a group warm up for us all.

There will also be food and drinks around the stage so all of our santas will never go hungry or thirsty.

The starting point will be at Kungsträdgården where you can choose to run, walk, jog or stroll along the course. Be sure to enjoy the musicians along the course as well. We will cross the river into Gamla Stan making a loop and return back to Kungsträdgården all together at the finishing line where you will receive your medal.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Stockholm Santa Run is a 3 KM run for everyone. Invite your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, strangers… We do not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, national origin, physical, mental disability or age. All are welcome.

Is the "Christmas spirit" found in gifts, trees, and lights? No! It's found in the joy of coming together to support those in need!

You are welcome to walk, power walk, jog, run, it's all up to you!

Important 1: The organizers of the event will not take any financial benefit from the money raised since the idea of ​​the run is to help people who need it more. That's why we try to keep all the costs as low as possible, so there will be no unnecessary fancy things. After the race, each participant will receive a diploma emailed to them with the result of the total money raised from the run and where it went. You will also receive a medal.

Important 2: The organizers are not responsible for any damage, injury or injury

WHEN AND WHERE TO COLLECT SANTA SUITS? 

You will be able to collect your start kit and Santa suit on:
Sunday Dec 1st

Saturday Dec 7th

at the Jussi Pavilion at Kungsträdgården between 10 am & 4pm.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T COLLECT MY SANTA SUIT & SANTA PACK ON THE 1 ^st or the 7 ^th ?

We would most appreciate it if you were able to c

ollect your Santa Suit & Santa Pack on Sunday 1 ^st or Saturday 7 ^th  December. However if this is not possible for you, you May collect them on the morning of the event on Sunday 8 ^th December 9:30 am - 10:50 am at our tents in the Royal Garden.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DIDN'T BUY A SANTA SUIT THROUGH SANTA RUN? You are welcome to wear your own Santa outfit. For best effect, please wear a red hat, jacket, trousers, belt and beard.

WHERE EXACTLY DO WE MEET IN THE KINGDOM GARDEN? In front of the main stage (big stage)

CAN I BRING A PET? Yes!

HOW OLD DO YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE? Any age! Participants under the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children need to be registered.

CAN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME WATCH ME AS A SPECTATOR?

Definitely, we love supportive cheerleaders! Our only stipulation is that they stay off the actual running course - this is for their own safety and also the safety of our Santas.

HOW TO GET TWO KINGDOM GARDEN? You can walk from central station to Kungsträdgården or get the blue line one stop from central station to Kungsträdgården.

IS THE RACE TIMED? No - this is a fun run! Meaning that you will not be timed by any sort of clock or timing provider. Come and have fun as everyone is a winner!

IS THERE BAG STORAGE?

Unfortunately there will not be any onsite.

WHERE DO I CHANGE INTO MY SANTA OUTFIT?

We recommend that you change into your Santa suit before you arrive at Kungsträdgården. It fits over your clothing so dress appropriately for the weather. Make sure you have warm jackets and shoes.

WHERE DO I BUY MY TICKET? Online through Billetto only. We will not sell tickets onsite.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I BUY MY TICKET AND I CAN'T MAKE IT? Once a ticket is bought, it's yours. Through Billetto you have the option to buy additional cancellation insurance. Please read their terms and conditions if this is something you wish to avail.

If you wish to transfer your ticket - Billetto has a cool option where you can transfer your ticket directly through the Billetto platform and it will generate a new ticket / QR code with the new Santa's email and name.

CAN A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER PICK UP MY OUTFIT? Yes, please have them bring appropriate ID (if you are a student) and their Billetto ticket. We need the ticket to be scanned. You can download the Billetto app on iOS and Android ! You don't need to print them - save paper !!

Stockholm Santa Run / Walk 2019

Hello and welcome to Stockholm Santa Run 2019! A year-long wait is finally over. Now it's time to put on the running shoes, the garbage cans and enjoy all the delicacies that are offered and make our gutters round and happy.

Last year, over 1400 plots participated in the Kungsträdgården and together we raised over a quarter of a million to the three organizations we have chosen to support. You are fantastic!

This year, our goal is clearly to collect even more plots and even more money.

The event will take place on December 8, 2019.

Before the race starts there will be performances by musicians and dancers and joint warm-up for all participants.

No plots need to be hungry and thirsty for there will be food and drink at and near the stage.

The start is in Kungsträdgården and you can choose whether you want to run, walk, jog or walk.

Don't forget to enjoy the musicians who will be along the track. We cross the water through the Old Town and return to Kungsträdgården where everyone gets a medal at the finish.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T RECEIVE MY START PACK ON DECEMBER 1 OR 7?

We really appreciate if you have the opportunity to pick up your Start Package on Saturday the 1st or 7th of December. Should this not be possible for you, you can pick it up in the morning on the event day Sunday December 8 between 9:30 - 10:50 at our tents in Kungsträdgården.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DIDN'T PURCHASE AN EMPTY DRESS THROUGH SANTA RUN?

You may be dressed in your own costume. For best effect you should wear red hoodie, jacket, pants, belt and beard.

CAN I BRING A PET? Yes please!

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE SHARE? All ages are welcome! Participants under the age of 14 must have company with a parent or other adult. All children must be registered.

CAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME AND LOOK AT ME AS A VIEWER? Absolutely, we love supporting supporters! Our only requirement is that they stay away from the current running track - this for their own and the site's safety.

HOW DO YOU COME TO THE KINGDOM GARDEN? You can walk from the T-Centralen (takes a maximum of 15 minutes) or take the blue line to Kungsträdgården and by bus 54 or 69.

IS IT TIME ON THE RACE? No - this is a race just for fun! The intention is that no time should be spent on you with any clock or other timer. Come and have fun and everyone is the winner!

IS THERE ANY LIQUID SUBMISSION? Unfortunately, there is no place where your stuff can be stored.

WHERE DO I CHANGE TO EMPTY DRESS? We recommend that you change the costume before coming to Kungsträdgården. It fits on the outside of your clothes, so dress appropriately for weather.

WHERE DO I BUY MY TICKET? Only online through Billetto! We will NOT sell tickets on site!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I BUY MY TICKET AND CANNOT COME? Once you have purchased your ticket, it is yours. Through Billetto you have the opportunity to purchase cancellation cover. Read their terms if this is something you want.
