Stella Chiweshe är Zimbabwes internationellt mest produktiva artist och var en framträdande stjärna i den tidiga världsmusiken på 1980-talet och början av 90-talet. Stella är fortfarande är en hisnande kraftfull och mycket andlig artist.
Hennes traditionella ”Mbira” -musik (ordet kategoriserar båda instrument och stilen) är ett medium för att skapa kontakt med de avlidne förfädernas andar och därmed också kunna skapa gemenskap bland lyssnarna. I september 2018 släppte Glitterbeat Stellas första album på mer än ett decennium. ”Kasahwa” är en fantastisk samling av hennes tidigaste sju tums singlar från 1970-talet och början av 80-talet, material som hittills inte varit hört utanför Afrika.
Med sina rötter djupt rotade i svensk folkmusik utforskar singer-songwritern/multi-instrumentalisten/körledaren Åsa Larsson, aka Resmiranda, hur musik kan vara med och påverka miljöfrågan och hur sång kan omvandlas till träd. Livespelningarna med loop pedal, sång, piano och flöjt rör sig fritt över genregränserna och blir till drömlika ljudlandskap och grooviga ställningstaganden. 2019 släpptes albumet For The Trees på Barrackas records. 2013 kom Resmirandas debut EP Mellan Stiltje och Storm.

Vi vill skapa en gränsöverskridande kreativ plats genom konserter, utställningar,festivaler, spelkultur, urban odling, graffitiplank, screentryck och musikstudio.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
