Med jämna mellanrum dyker det upp det en akt som blåser liv i indierocken. 2018 var det Snail Mail som plockade upp facklan. På ytan var den då 19-åriga Lindsey Jordans superhyllade debutalbum ’Lush’ en samling gitarrocklåtar men om man dröjde längre än ett ögonblick så blottlades ett universum av sällsynt uppriktighet, en kärlek till detaljer och inte minst ett låtskrivande som med råge överträffade många av hennes generationskamrater som likt henne förälskat sig i 90-talets alternativa estetik. Över vindlande gitarrer – Jordan har tränat klassisk gitarr sedan 5-års åldern – besjunger hon tonårens tvära kast mellan tristess, sorg och kaos med knivskarp skärpa.
Snail Mail debuterade redan 2016 med EP:n ’Habits’, ett släpp som ledde till ett kontrakt med Matador Records och turnéer med akter såsom Waxahatchee, Beach Fossils och Girlpool. Men om ’Habits’ visade på Jordans enorma potential så var det med debutalbumet ’Lush’ som de sista pusselbitarna föll på plats. Albumet fick ett fantastiskt mottagande av både kritiker och lyssnare och tog henne över hela världen. Nu är det dags för Snail Mail att besöka Sverige för två efterlängtade spelningar

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
