(SWE) Sandwich är en föreställning av artisten Sin Wai Kin under sitt alter ego: drag queen Victoria Sin. Under föreställningen skapar Victoria Sin en ostsmörgås på ett demonstrativt och upprört sätt till 50-talsmusik. Verket refererar till gammal matlagnings-TV och feministiska performance-verk som Martha Rosler’s Semiotics of the Kitchen, med en kommentar på värdet av kvinnligt arbete. Vid dåligt väder kommer denna föreställning att flyttas till en annan spelplats i parken. Vi kommer att informera via mail samma dag som föreställningen. (ENG) Sandwich is a performance by artist Sin Wai Kin performing as their drag alter ego Victoria Sin. In the work the artist makes a cheese sandwich in a demonstrative and exasperated attitude to 1950s music. The work references both vintage cooking shows and feminist performance work such as Martha Rosler’s semiotics of the kitchen in a tongue in cheek comment on the value of fmeininine labour and expectations that come with the performance of femininity. In case of bad weather, this performance will be moved to another venue in the park. We will inform via email the same day as the performance. WorldPride Parks performanceprogram består av åtta akter som var och en på sitt sätt möblerar om i parkens kollektiva medvetande. Med inspiration från Folkets Parks historia och de gemensamma minnen som platsen bär med sig undersöker vi de normer som präglar det offentliga rummet. Ett program som belyser det temporära och förkroppsligar det icke-linjära, kurerat av Emilia Thorin och Matilda Tjäder i samarbete med Folkets Park.

Insläpp till arrangemanget är 15 minuter innan starttid. Ha gärna din biljett redo att visas upp för våra publikvärdar.

Det är många som vill gå på arrangemanget och det finns bara ett begränsat antal biljetter. Om du har en bokad biljett men får förhinder, maila: daniel.g@malmopride.com  så får fler chansen att ta del av programmet.

Om du inte har använt din biljett 10 minuter innan starttid kommer vi att ge din plats till någon.

The WorldPride Park’s performance program consists of eight acts, each one reshaping the park’s collective consciousness in its own way. Inspired by the history of Folkets Park and the shared memories inherited in the space, we aim to explore the norms that influence the public domain. The program shines a light on the temporary and embodies the non-linear. Curated by Emilia Thorin and Matilda Tjäder in collaboration with Folkets Park.

General information:

Admission to the event is 15 minutes before start time. Please have your ticket ready to be shown to our hosts by the entrance.

There are many who want to go to the event and there are only a limited number of tickets. If you aren’t able to use your ticket, please send an email to daniel.g@malmopride.com, that way someone else can get your ticket.

If we haven’t scanned your ticket 10 minutes before the event starts, we will give your seat to someone else.

It is important that all visitors respect the rules of the event and show consideration for each other. Remember to stay home if you have symptoms, wash your hands often and keep your distance from each other.
