HånEgo Produktion presenterar stolt Prins Svart på Söderhamns teater:
Prins Svart kombinerar det gamla med det nya och har på kort tid format en unik nisch i musiksverige genom att spela klassisk rock med svenska texter direkt från hjärtat utan omvägar eller manér. Namnet Prins Svart står för ”den arma människan” och symboliserar det mänskliga tillståndet där hopp, längtan, saknad, sorg och kärlek spelar huvudroller: vi är alla Prins Svart.
Med lika delar inspiration från band som Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Dio, Deep Purple, Micke Rickfors, Thåström, och Free, så är musiken fast förankrad i 1970-talet och det tidiga 1980-talet. Texterna är personliga med ett poetiskt anslag och handlar om förvandling och samhörighet. Bandets ambition är att låtarna ska handla om personliga saker med allmän giltighet, en i grund och botten konstnärlig ambition där målet är att beröra och inspirera lyssnaren.
Sedan 2020 är Mats Levén (ex-Candlemass, Yngwie Malmsteen, Skyblood) sångare i bandet och en ny epok i bandets historia tog sin början! På det kommande albumet, ”Sanning/Makt” breder Prins Svart ut hela sin musikaliska palett i ett 77-minuter långt epos som ges ut som dubbelalbum på vinyl och CD. På albumet bjuder Prins Svart in lyssnaren till en musikalisk resa från tango till blast-beats och vidare!
