Möt taktäckaren Adam Ooms som under juni kommer att återuppföra Martin Puryears totalrenovera Meditation in a Beech Wood från 1996 i skulptuparken Wanås Konst.

I en öppning bland bokarna, i en avskild del av parken, tornar Meditation in a Beech Wood upp sig, en fem meter hög skulptur i vass. En organisk och taktil form lik en huvudlös, sittande Buddha figur. Med utgångspunkt såväl i minimalismen som i traditionellt hantverk har Puryear utvecklat ett eget formspråk. I sina skulpturer använder han naturliga material, som metaller, sten, gräs och trä, vilka han ger abstrakta, drömlika former.
Skulpturen i bokskogen på Wanås Konst uppfördes i original 1996 i tätt samarbete mellan konstnären och taktäckaren Adam Ooms. Projektet avslutas den 5 september med ett seminarium och nyinvigning av skulpturen med Martin Puryear närvarande.
Organiser
Wanås Konst är en internationell skulpturpark och ett centrum för konst och lärande som drivs av den ideella Stiftelsen Wanås Utställningar. Här skapas, presenteras och förmedlas internationell samtidskonst med inriktning på skulptur och installation. Varje år bjuds internationella konstnärer in för att skapa konst i parken. Det finns idag 70 permanenta konstverk i samlingen – producerade för Wanås Konst.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
