Frida Björks Kammarkör firar 10 år och bjuder in till sin årliga vårkonsert ”Med lyrik klädd i ny skrud” i vackra Orangeriet vid Uppsala slott. Jubileet till ära gästas konserten av Margareta Bengtson, sopran och harpist.
Programmet bjuder som vanligt på en blandning av sånger där a capellasång och svensk körlyrik står i centrum och där stilarna vandrar mellan nutid och dåtid, allvarsamt och lekfullt.
Genom åren har kören mejslat fram ett eget sound som präglas av stor samsjunghet, omsorgsfull textbehandling och därtill ett genomtänkt scenspråk som möjliggörs genom att kören alltid sjunger sin repertoar utantill.
