Under 2019 släppte Charles albumet "Seneca " som bara fanns där helt plötsligt och i USA har hittat en publik bland de som gillar artister som Tylers Childers , Sturgill Simpson t.e.x.
Albumet innehåller ett knippe omistliga sånger som, enligt Godwin själv, behandlar ett ”abundance of ’human things’, like failure, the ups and downs of marriage, and getting back to a simpler way of life”. Flera spår på skivan berättar om händelser, miljöer och karaktärer från uppväxten i Appalacherna.
