Göteborgsbaserade saxofonisten Lisen Rylander Löve är internationellt verksam inom jazz, elektronika och experimentell musik. 2019 släppte hon sitt första soloalbum OCEANS som hyllats av både publik och press. Det har beskrivits som en kompromisslös och mångfasetterad debut med en fusion av elektronika, improvisation, jazz och experimentell pop. Det är musik där det söndriga möter det vackra, akustiskt möter elektroniskt. Vågor av ljud; många, olika, mycket. Lyssnaren ledsagas av en ständig mörk underton där harmoni möter disharmoni. Genom att mixa akustiska instrument som saxofon och röst med live-elektronik skapar hon sina egna unika ljudvärldar. Hon gör modig musik med nerv, inte alldeles tillgänglig, men välkomnande, demokratisk och belönande. Albumet OCEANS är nominerat till Manifest 2020.
Lisen har under flera år av konstnärligt arbete med yttersta fingertoppskänsla både visat innebörden av begreppet nutida jazz men också tänjt på definitionerna och därmed befäst sin roll som en av våra mest betydelsefulla och nyskapande jazzmusiker och kompositörer. Hon har släppt ett flertal hyllade skivor med kvartetterna The Splendor och Here’s To Us och spelade under tolv år i elektronikagruppen Midaircondo. Lisen är ständigt aktuell med olika samarbeten och som gästmusiker, de senaste åren har hon till exempel turnerat med bland andra Union Carbide Productions och Richard Barbieri (bandet Japan). Hon är en utforskande musiker och artist och i OCEANS ger hon lika mycket utrymme till mörka beats och samplingar som till slagverk, röst och tenorsax. Med sig på scenen har hon Martin Öhman (Klabbes Bank m fl) och Donovan von Martens (Hannah Tolf band m fl) som båda färgar musiken med sina starkt personliga musikaliska uttryck.
