Efter att en fisketrålare ödelagt deras korallrev har trion inget annat val än att ge sig ut på jakt efter ett nytt hem. I sökandet efter det legendariska korallrevet Kaluoka´hina upplever vännerna olika spännande miljöer, från undervattensskogar till sjunkna vrak – och till och med yttre rymden! Deras oförglömliga resa för dem ansikte mot ansikte med bläckfiskar, delfiner, marulk och andra exotiska havsvarelser. Samtidigt måste de se upp för hungriga hajar, föroreningar och andra faror.
