Klubb Ankaret bjuder in till sin andra programpunkt för hösten. TOKSO är en helt unik folkstråkkvartett. Denna intima konsert i Matteuskyrkan, Majorna, lär bli magisk. Missa inte!
OBS! Konserten börjar kl 19.
TOKSO betyder stråke på grekiska. Den norska hardangerfelan, cellon, den svenska nyckelharpan och den kretanska lyran spelas alla fyra med en stråke, men traditionellt delar de inte en gemensam repertoar eller orkester. Men i TOKSO, med sin öppna inställning till nya idéer, binds instrumenten samman på ett förvånansvärt harmoniskt sätt som omedelbart imponerar lyssnaren med sin mognad och djup.
Repertoaren består uteslutande av egna kompositioner utförda med virtuositet och musikalitet, vilket accentuerar nyskapandet och innovationsfriheten. Det bjuds på improvisation såväl som teknik inspirerade av traditionerna från sina olika hemländer.
TOKSO är en kvartett som presenterades första gången i Norge sommaren 2008. Det består av fyra musiker och kompositörer, Anne Hytta och Sigrun Eng från Norge, Eleonore Billy från Frankrike och Kelly Thoma från Grekland. Denna turné är gruppen utökad med fransk-iranska slagverkaren Bijan Chemirani.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
