Den brasilianske stjärnproducenten Kassin (Luaka Bop) kommer till Grand med band!
Kassin har producerat musik för Gal Costa, Bebel Gilberto, Caetano Veloso och Marcos Valle men också samarbetat med musiker som Money Mark (Beastie Boys) och Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders)
Som soloartist gör sångaren, multiinstrumentalisten och artisten Kassin gör musik på ett helt eget vis.
I en intervju med Billboard Magazine förra året berättar han: ”Jag gör först all musik i mitt huvud, utan några instrument, idéer eller arrangemang. När jag sedan spelar in hör jag musiken för första gången utanför mitt huvud”. Är det därför musiken är så glad, okomplicerad och fylld av oväntade infall? Mer väntat är kanske att han ger ut sin musik på Luaka Bop (William Onyeabor, Doug Hream Blunt, Floating Points). Skivbolaget grundades av en av popens mer egensinniga: forne Talking Heads-frontmannen David Byrne.
Kassin har skapat ett helt album på sin Gameboy, gjort filmmusik till japanska animefilmer och medverkat som producent på Gilles Petersons brasilianska projekt Sonzeira. Han är också medlem i Rio de Janeiro-bandet The +2’s som blandar vilt mellan samba, funk och psykedelia.
På egen hand är han lite popigare – men den varierade blandningen av musikaliska element är signaturen även när Kassin gör solomaterial. Vi är minst sagt förväntansfulla över vad Kassin med band kommer hitta på när de för första gången besöker Malmö och Grand Öl & Mat.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
