Göteborgsbaserade pianisten Karin Johansson och basisten Vilhelm Bromander har mötts förut, men aldrig musikaliskt. Nu står de på scen för allra första gången i en 35 minuter lång fri improvisation.

Karin Johansson är pianist och kompositör inom ett brett spektra av improvisationsmusik, frijazz och samtida musik. Arbetar gärna med alternativa tekniker och preparerat piano. Verksam sedan många år både i Sverige och internationellt.
I våras släppte hon skivan Hemligheter på vägen tillsammans med gruppen ORD, där hon tolkar Tranströmer-dikter med egna kompositioner.
Karin är baserad i Göteborg men är född och uppvuxen i Malmö.
Hon är utbildad på Högskolan för Scen och Musik i Göteborg.
Vilhelm Bromander är frilansande kontrabasist, elbasist och kompositör. Vilhelm är djupt insyltat i den svenska jazz och impromyllan, och är ständigt nyfiken på ny musik och gamla traditioner. Han har hörts med bl.a. Christer Bothén 3, Svenska folkjazzkvartetten, Elin Forkelid plays for Trane, Rotem Geffen, Julia Strzalek, Alberto Pinton Trio/Sextett, och Filip Jers Quartet. Vilhelm driver även skivbolaget Differ Records, som släpper musik med särskilt fokus på intonation. Han kännetecknas av en djup närvaro och ett ödmjukt lyssnande, och ljuder med basen ömsom mjukt och ömt och ömsom rått men alltid detaljerat och underordnat musiken. Han tar inspiration från många genres - fri impro, frijazz, och elektronisk musik samt sina studier av just intonation och dhrupad.
