Den amerikanske komikern Judah Friedlander, känd från komedisuccén 30 Rock, kommer till Uppsala med sin världsturné onsdag 12 september. Judah, har precis släppt den kritikerrosade standupspecialen America Is the Greatest Country in the United States (Netflix).
Showen, som innehåller helt nytt material och en hel del improvisationer, tar upp ämnen som amerikansk politik (och självgodhet), med kommentarer om rasism, sexism, vapenlagar, klimatförändringar och sjukvård.
Judah Friedlander har ståuppat sedan 1989 och har utvecklat scenpersonan The World Champion - från början en satir över narcissismen i samhället. Men världsmästaren Judah Friedlander har så småningom utvecklats till en verklig superhjälte, som ödmjukt får publiken att fundera över varför världen behöver hjältar. Om Amerika gör sitt jobb kommer Världsmästaren Judah antagligen en dag bli USA:s president.

Som skådespelare har Judah medverkat i över 30 filmer. 2004 nominerades han för bästa biroll vid Independent Spirit Awards för sin roll som nörden Toby Radloff i American Splendor. Judah spelade också under sju säsonger Frank Rossitano i Emmy-belönade komediserien 30 Rock av och med Tina Fey.
Supportkomiker: Simon Gärdenfors, serietecknaren och rapparen som bestämde sig för att bli bäst på standup och Petter Bristav, humorist med många strängar på sin lyra som ligger bakom poddsuccéer som TSKNAS och Va Glor Du På.
