Under de senaste åren har böcker om judisk historia i vid mening varit en tydlig strömfåra i den svenska bokfloden. Men vad menar vi egentligen när vi talar om ”judisk historia”? Är det fråga om judarnas historia eller historiens judar? Är det särart och marginalitet eller kulturell interaktion med omvärlden som står i fokus? Folket eller religionen? Det finns också ett idéhistoriskt perspektiv; judendomen är en utpräglad minneskultur, och Tanach och Gamla testamentet med dess krönikor, genealogier, kronologier och berättelser har spelat en central roll för det västerländska historiemedvetandet. Fram till 1700-talet var egentligen all historia biblisk; man tolkade sin historia med skapelseberättelsen som yttersta referenspunkt. Och i vår egen samtid – är vi osunt historiefixerade, eller är historien kanske ett judiskt kall?
Dessa och många andra frågor tänker vi belysa och diskutera i Programmet Vad är judisk historia? den 7 november. Medverkande spanare är historikern Carl Henrik Carlsson, författaren och kulturhistorikern Anders Hammarlund, Judiska bibliotekets föreståndare Malin Norrby, professorn i socialpsykologi Lars Dencik samt författaren Göran Rosenberg och Lars M Andersson, föreståndare för Forum för judiska studier vid Uppsala universitet. För det musikaliska spanandet svarar Alexander Freudenthal.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
