Med trumpetaren och kompositören Laura Jurd vid rodret har Dinosaur – som utöver Jurd består av Elliot Galvin på keyboard, Conor Chaplin på elbas och Corrie Dick på trummor – spelat sig igenom Storbritannien och Europa: på Berlin jazzfestival, Jazz Sur Son 31 i Toulouse, 12 Points i Dublin och Jazzahead i Bremen för att nämna några ställen. Vi är nu otroligt glada att de kommer till Göteborg!
Laura Jurd har gjort lite av en kometkarriär sedan hon först gjorde entré på den kreativa London-scenen 2010. Bland annat har hon släppt två kritikerrosade album i eget namn samt fått utmärkelsen “BBC New Generation Artist”. Med sitt onekligen unika och kreativa förhållningssätt till musikskapande har hon skaffat sig ett fantastiskt renommé som en av de främsta unga improvisationsmusikerna i Storbritannien idag.
I september 2016 släppte Dinosaur sitt debutalbum “Together, As One”. Albumet har lovordats och musiken, som är en blandning mellan jazz, folk och rock, har ett kaxigt sound som för tankarna till Miles Davis senare album.
GMLSTN JAZZ är en internationell och modern jazzfestival, med en ambition och vision om att sätta Göteborg på den internationella jazzkartan och erbjuda en unik kulturell upplevelse med musik och skön atmosfär. I år fortsätter vi vårt stora samarbete med lokala arrangörer inom jazz och improvisation i Göteborg, och tillsammans skapar vi ett festivalprogram som sträcker sig över 10 dagar. I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
