Sångaren och låtskrivaren Gabriel Kelley är född och uppväxt på landsbygden kring Athens, Georgia. Där bodde han tills vägarna bar honom till Nashville, där han numera är baserad. Som ung lämnade han ett jobb som låtskrivare när han kände att hit-kravet överskuggade konsten allt för ofta, och startade istället en musikskola vid ett barnhem i Guatemala, vilket också återupplivade passionen för musiken. Väl tillbaka i Nashville, bosatte han sig i en husbil och började skriva musik om sina erfarenheter, men också på ett sätt som höll hans integritet intakt.
Albumet ‘Lighter Shades of Blue’ från 2016 hyllades av kritiker på båda sidor av Atlanten, och var starten på ett intensivt turnerande - bland annat som öppnare för artister som Chris Stapleton, The Marcus King Band, The Allman Brothers, Sturgill Simpson och Steve Earle. I Sverige såg vi honom ihop med Jill Jonsson, efter att han dykt upp i populära SVT-programmet Jills Veranda, bland annat med sitt band Hogslop String Band. Senaste singeln ‘Shoreline’ (2017), som var en cover på Broder Daniels klassiska hit letade sig in på ett stort antal Spotify-spellistor världen över och tog sig till och med in på ‘Sweden Viral Chart’, där den toppade som #5.
Efter ett par år utan nya släpp och mer än 300 spelningar, med bland annat stopp på ikoniska spelställen som Red Rocks och Dalhalla är det dags för ny musik att se dagens ljus. I juni kom första singeln ‘Spell on Me’, och i början av september kom 'Red Tail' båda från kommande albumet som släpps i Oktober.
