Are you ready for a SPEXtacular event? We are pleased to announce that Fysikalen and THS MAIN will be co-hosting the English-spoken Spex Fyysikkospeksi 2019!  More than 120 students from 15 lines of study are making Fyysikkospeksi happen, coming all the way from from Helsinki!

Don’t know what Spex is? Spex is an amateur comedy theatre act performed by Swedish/Finnish university students.

This spex takes you on a tour to a small rustic town in the Finnish countryside, next to the middle of nowhere. The calm meandering passage of time seems endless until it doesn’t; levees protecting a harbored grudge break and long bottled resentment flows freely. An inexplicable source of darkness floats over the amber waves of grain. Ultimately, one question remains: which is thicker, blood or the murky muddy waters of the wetland?

The duration of the show is approximately 3 hours, including an intermission. Please arrive at 15:30, as the seats are not numbered and the show will start at 16:00. The show includes flashing lights and loud sounds.
