Lördag den 19 oktober hälsar vi er varmt välkomna till den andra upplagan av Västerås Litteraturfestival. En festival med det litterära samtalet i fokus. Vi vill genom litteraturfestivalen stärka den lokala identiteten och öppna upp mot världen. Samtal, utställare, författarsamtal, seminarium, författarscen och litterära godbitar för alla åldrar. Festivalen öppnar 10.00. Författarbesöken och panelsamtal är kl 16.00.

Årets författare som deltar i panelsamtal med Erik Jersenius och berättar om sin litteratur är Mats Strandberg, Lyra Koli och Kayo Mpoyi.
Mats Strandberg – Från Fagersta i Bergslagen. Hans böcker har översatts till 27 språk. Han fick sitt stora genombrott med världssuccén Engelsforstrilogin som han skrev tillsammans med Sara Bergmark Elfgren. Den första delen nominerades till Augustpriset och hyllades av en enig kritikerkår. Bland hans böcker finns även Färjan (2015), Monstret i natten (2016) och Slutet (2018).
Lyra Koli - Debuterade 2012 och skriver litteraturkritik för Svenska Dagbladet. Ett så starkt ljus (2014), hennes andra roman efter den uppmärksammade Tillhör Lyra Ekström Lindbäck, nominerades till Augustpriset i kategorin »Årets skönlitterära bok«. Även I tiden (2016) hyllades av kritikerna. Hennes fjärde roman, Allting växer, nominerades till Sveriges Radios Romanpris. Leviatan är hennes första diktbok.
Kayo Mpoyi - Kayo Mpoyi är född 1986 och bor i Stockholm. Hon har gått Biskops-Arnös skrivarlinje. Mai betyder vatten är Mpoyis debutroman och utgår från myter som berättats i hennes familj.
Västerås Litteraturfestival är ett samarrangemang mellan Västerås stadsbibliotek, ABF Västerås och Skådebanan Västmanland.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
