– Ett eldhav stort som Globen omger oss. Det är 800° grader varmt. En människa självantänder vid 600°. Håret och skägget knastrar när det brinner av och det bubblar i hörselgången när öronen smälter. Fingrarna brinner utan att det känns. Mina värderingar brann upp tillsammans med mitt ansikte den där natten. När jag vaknade var det till en ny värld. En värld av skönhet.
