En festival som vill visa musikens oerhörda styrka och förmåga att tillföra ytterligare dimensioner till film.
Musik och film är en lika oskiljaktig som oslagbar kombination. Så har det varit sedan den allra första ljudfilmen lanserades – Jazzsångaren från 1927.
– I de flesta filmer är musiken en väldigt central del, men jag tycker inte den uppmärksammas och får det utrymme den förtjänar. Med Film Music Live Festival riktar vi strålkastaren mot både musiken och filmen. Att musiken vid festivalen framförs live av en stor ensemble och en kör samtidigt som filmen visas på en stor duk ger också en alldeles särskild upplevelse säger Daniel Engström, initiativtagare och själv utbildad filmmusiktonsättare i Los Angeles.
Under festivalen som är koncentrerad till den 17 november visas tolv filmer med nykomponerad musik. Varje film är sex till tio minuter lång och efter varje film finns det möjlighet att ställa frågor till personerna bakom musiken och filmen. Efter festivalen kommer en jury som består av personer med väldig bredd och mycket stort kunnande inom film och musik att utse bästa film/musik. Juryn leds av Simon Kölle, som också är festivalens konferencier.
Temat för årets festival är "hopp". Det är upp till regissör såväl som kompositör att fritt tolka detta tema.
Eventet sker i samverkan mellan KMH och The Prod.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
