Fartyg 6 är tillbaka med sin tredje skiva utgiven på PACAYA records! Denna afton blir en helkväll med musik av bandet som spelar musik från albumet, samt ett framträdande av support-artist!
Allt på fantastiska SkeppetGbg - Göteborgs nya heta kulturscen som håller öppet bar och restaurang under kvällen.
Fartyg 6 - Ballader och Meck
Fartyg 6 är en sextett som vibrerar i sitt uttryck och gör avtryck. De har sedan starten 2014 hänfört med sin uttrycksfulla, udda jazz med influenser från pop och imrpovisation. De representerade Sverige i Nordic Jazz Comets 2019 och spelade 2020 på EFG London Jazz festival men har likväl spelat på rock-klubbar och i kammarmusik-rum. Musiken är lekfull och innerlig med förkärlek till metriska melodier och underligt sväng. Deras musik kan liknas vid ett videospel som sveper musikaliskt i tvära kast mellan energi och harmoni.
Fartyg 6 har tidigare utgivit sina två skivor Allt Faller & Den Första på Göteborgsbaserade PACAYA Records och släpper nu sin tredje skiva och andra album Osmund. Ett album som bjuder till både fest och intima kökssamtal. Ord om ords otillräcklighet och poetiska tankar med instrumentala låtar där musiken ger utrymme för eftertanke. Och ibland grooves och feel good! Ett album med många med många parametrar och ballader och meck!

Release concert for the album Osmund! Fartyg 6 is back with its third record released on PACAYA records! This evening will be a full evening with music by the band playing music from the album, as well as a performance by a support artist! All at the fantastic SkeppetGbg - our shining star and partner! Information about Bar and Restaurant will come later this fall! Fartyg 6 is a sextet that vibrates in its expression and tone. Since the start in 2014, the band has attracted and captivated a wide range of listeners with their expressive, odd jazz. They represented Sweden in Nordic Jazz Comets 2019 and played 2020 at the EFG London Jazz festival but have nevertheless played at rock clubs and in chamber music rooms. The band has been praised for their original expression and their close interplay in their music that carries a playfulness and sincerity with a predilection for metric melodies and strange turns. Their music can be likened to a video game and sweeps musically in sharp throws between euphoria, chaos and harmony. Fartyg 6 has earlier released two records (Allt Faller & Den Första) at PACAYA Records and is now releasing his third record / second album Osmund. In the upcoming album, words about the inadequacy of words and poetic thoughts are embraced with instrumental songs where the music gives room for reflection or just feel good! We can expect an album with many with many parameters with many ballads and meck (Matildas Swedish slang word for kind of artsy/difficult/playful. The word is kind of deriving from the swedish word for what a mechanic does. The mechanic (Mekaniker in swedish) "mekar" or "meckar")!
