Echo Three i samarbete med Sensus och Lilla Hotellbaren presenterar mellan den 10 november och 8 december fem spelningar med några av landets mest lovande akter inom indie, alternativ pop/rock och närliggande genres. Fokus ligger på artister som debuterade eller släppte debutalbum under pandemin men berövades på viktiga spelningar, men även på akter som väntas ta stora kliv den kommande tiden. Kom och upptäck guldkorn från den inhemska scenen, passet till samtliga spelningar kostar 200 SEK och till enskilda kvällar 60 SEK. 

På den andra kvällen hittar vi hyllade postpunkarna Beverly Kills som just nu färdigställer sitt debutalbum samt experimentella och vassa You Thant som blandar lo-fi, art-rock och dröm-pop på ett skickligt sätt. Läs mer om akterna nedan och scrolla ner för hela programmet.

Echo Three in collaboration with Sensus and Lilla Hotellbaren proudly presents five nights with some of the most promising acts Sweden's got to offer within indie, pop, rock and related genres. Focus is put on the great bands and artists that made their debut or released their debut albums during the pandemic but were robbed of important tour dates, but also on acts with big potential that we think will take big steps in the near future. Come and discover gems from the Swedish scene! Ticket for all shows cost 200 SEK and for each individual night 60 SEK. 

On the second night we have hailed and dance-friendly post-punkers Beverly Kills that are just about to finish their debut album and experimentalists You Thant that mix lo-fi, art-rock and dream-pop in an excellent way. More info below and scroll down for the full Echo Three Presents 2021 programme.

With each and every release Beverly Kills, and their energetic post-punk, have garnered more international acclaim. After their 2018 debut singles, the Gothenburg based band were hailed as Sweden’s next big thing, according to both international and domestically based media. They eventually reached the ears of Australian indie label Hell Beach, who released the band’s two next singles last year. Meanwhile, the band was touring showcase festivals and sold out venues around Europe to support the singles.

2020 marked a new chapter for Beverly Kills as they played their first shows in the US and released Elegance in a State of Crisis, their long-awaited debut EP through Gothenburg label Welfare Sounds. The release was met with a vast array of positive criticism both from Swedish media, and from larger media outlets such as KEXP, BrooklynVegan, and Jezebel. While finishing their debut album, the band released the one-off single Trophy Hunt - their most hooky, and danceable post-punk anthem to date.

You Thant

In April 2019 the group of friends that would later become You Thant moved deep into the remote beech forests of southern Sweden to write and record an album in perfect solitude, without knowing where it would lead them. Six months later they emerged as a fully formed band and backed by the self produced ‘Dinner for Two’ (released 2020). serving up eleven eclectic songs; revolving through glitchy electro ballads to polyrhythmic art rock and grimey synth punk. 
Drawing inspiration from an ever widening scope of musical genres; the band creates an expansive musical sound that is not easily defined. Incorporating elements of avant-pop with techno, lofi and dream-pop indie. Since then, the band have signed to Sämjan and released 7'' 'Paradise / Hangin on Doors' in 2021. Operating as a live quintet, the band's great shows are characterized by attitude, curiosity and a never ending will to experiment.
