Dylan Leblanc slog igenom som ett endast 20-årigt singer/
Hyllade uppföljaren ‘Cast The Same Old Shadow’ befäste att First Aid Kit-generationen fått sin egen Townes Van Zandt. Men efter endast två album klev tvingades Leblanc på bara ett par månader ifrån en major label-deal, ner i självtivel och självmedicinering. Utmattad och skadeskjuten, vid 23 års ålder, så retirerade Dylan till hemtrakterna kring Muscle Shoals ett par år för att komma på fötter
Mellan ett par välbekanta fallgropar och ett par stunders klarhet så skrev han också ett nytt album. ‘Cautionary Tale’ gavs ut i början på 2016 och är en samling skimrande och gripande sånger med samma efterhängsna röst som redan fångat Lucinda Williams och Bruce Springsteens uppmärksamhet, fast vässad av en påskyndad mognad.
Medan Dylan är en av de första att erkänna att han inte var redo för den tidiga framgången, så råder det inga tvivel på att han är det nu. Men en kalibrerad livskompass och en ny chans att dela med sig av sin talang så gjorde han ett efterlängtat återbesök i Skandinavien sommaren 2017 tillsammans med nya kombandet The Pollies. Bland annat han de med en bejublad spelning på nya Americana-festivalen Sthlm Americana och i sommar är han här på nytt, för en mycket längre turné - och återigen med The Pollies som backning.
