När filmskaparen Jason Kohn (Manda Bala, Love Means Zero) infiltrerar denna hemlighetsfulla värld, avslöjar han en stor, långtgående konspiration som hotar värdet av varje diamant som någonsin utvunnits. Med några av de mest färgstarka och mäktiga personerna i branschen tar dokumentären med oss djupt in i en brottsutredning, dekonstruerar och dissekerar diamanten och omprövar själva skapandet av värde.
