Rymden och dess gåtfullhet har nog alltid lockat och fascinerat och historiskt har den fungerat som projektionsyta för fantasi, myter och religiösa visioner. Men vad säger egentligen vetenskapen om vad som finns där ute?
I den här visningen guidar curator Caroline Elgh Klingborg i utställningen Kosmologiska pilar och ställer frågor om rymden till Ulf Danielsson, professor i teoretisk fysik. Varför har vi inte hittat något liv i rymden? Skulle människan kunna anpassa sig till ett liv på Mars? Vad har vi gjort för att försöka få kontakt med icke-mänskliga existenser? Visningen berör fritt ämnen som astrologi, fysik och vetenskap, men också de stora frågorna; om framtiden, existensen och vår planets överlevnad.
Ulf Danielsson är professor i teoretisk fysik på Uppsala universitet. Han forskar om strängteori och kosmologi och är populärvetenskaplig författare.
