En av Reggaens stora legender firar 50 år som artist, släpper nytt album och ger sig ut på turné senare i höst. Vi är oerhört stolta över att en av reggaens mest framträdande röster kommer till Göteborg och Musikens Hus!
Clinton Fearon startade sin musikaliska banan 1969 när han gick med i den legendariska gruppen The Gladiators. Bandet blev snabbt ett av de mest inflytelserika inom genren och under 70-talet släpptes klassiker som Chatty Chatty Mouth och Rich Man Poor Man bara för att nämna några.
Under The Gladiators årtionden återfinns Clinton Fearon både som sångare, gitarrist och basist. Under 80-talet varvade han turnerande med The Gladiators med rollen som studiomusiker i Studio One och arbetade med producenter som Coxsone och Lee Perry.
Under 90-talet etablerades Clinton Fearon som solo-artist och hans karismatiska och mystiska röst blev världen över förknippad med roots reggae. Under 2000-talet har han släppt flera album och 2019 släpps hans tolfte solo-album. En milstolpe i denna storslagna karriär. En unik röst, en unik musiker, en legend som fortfarande producerar nya klassiker.
Fredagen den 1 november kommer Clinton Fearon till Göteborg och Musikens Hus. En musikupplevelse utöver det vanliga som du absolut inte ska missa!
