Oceanen tillsammans med Clandestino Festival presenterar Londonbaserade psyksynthpoeten Farai. Kvällen abslutas med DJ-set av albumaktuella Amina Hocine.

Farai är en poet och musiker från Zimbabwe som flyttade till London i tonåren för att plugga konst. Uppvuxen med Miriam Makeba, Brena Fassie och Oliver Mtukudzi, fick hon i flytten nya musikaliska influenser som Charlie Parker och Charles Mingus. Hon förälskade sig i beatgenerationens litterära verk, konstnärer som Keith Haring och modevärldens starka kvinnor som Naomi Campbell och Phoebe Philo.
För att kunna göra ett konstnärligt bra jobb, tror Farai på att du måste pusha dig själv och andra, utmana normer, utmana dina jämlikar, din regering, dina ledare och interagera med ditt samhälle. Tillsammans med producenten Basil Anthony Harewood, a.k.a. TØNE, hoppas hon kunna sammanfoga sina influenser med en värld av elektroniska, digitala, neonljud från framtiden. Från Warp-speed till dystopi.
AMINA HOCINE (DJ-set)
Amina Hocine är en kompositör, producent, sångerska och multiinstrumentalist baserad i Göteborg. De senaste åren har Amina Hocine skrivit och framfört musik för Folkteaterns föreställningar Variation, Not Based on a True Story och Folkbokförarna.
Under 2015 gjorde hon en bejublad miniturné i USA tillsammans med Hiya wal Âalam och Olof Dreijer. Hon har samarbetet med Andreas Tilliander och Dan Lissvik som mixat två ep:s, släppta av Clandestino Institut.
Debutalbumet Happy Blue Go! Go! släpps 26 maj

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
