David Fridlund bildade indie-pop-bandet David & the Citizens 1999, ett band som debuterade på skiva 2001 och som underloppet av en 5-års period hann ge ut 3 album, ett otal EPs, turnera hela Europa, bli Grammisnominerade och sedan splittras med buller och brak. Under de år de va aktiva samlade de en stor skara entusiastiska fans där många identifierade sig i Davids ångestdrivna texter och dansade till den något gladare indie-poppen. Strax efter splittringen flyttade David till USA, och ingen hörde av honom. Vad hände honom? Denna skiva är lite av svaret på den frågan.
David bodde i USA 2009-2022. Under flera år gjorde han ingen musik, han hade tappat lusten och inspirationen, men någon gång under 2019, kom den där lusten tillbaka och han började skriva en massa låtar igen. Efter 7-8 år då han knappt tog upp gitarren alls, forsade låtideerna genom huvudet och han insåg att han hade tappat bort en stor del av sig själv när han glömde bort musiken. Denna skiva består av låtar från den tiden i USA. Låtarna kom till i en mörk period i han liv. Födda ur ett kapsejsat förhållande och de blev hans tillflykt när allt kändes hopplöst och ensamt. Han skrev och spelade in de flesta i en lägenhet på 2nd Street i Santa Fe, på en 8-kanals digitalporta med endast två gitarrer, en trumpet, en virveltrumma, en melodika, ett munspel, en orgel och ett huvud fullt av idéer. Under åren han inte gjorde musik, spenderade han desto mer tid på att teckna och bilderna i omslaget är teckningar han gjorde mellan 2016-2022. Detta är inte en soloskiva med David Fridlund, det är David Fridlund själv under namnet Citizens Band Orchestra.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
