Zeitkratzer är en internationell grupp bestående av musiker, ljus- och ljudkonstnärer med Berlin som bas. Med slagverk, stråkar och elektroniska instrument befinner sig Zeitkratzer i ett dynamiskt ingenmansland mellan noise, experimentell rock, klassisk komposition och improvisation.
I denna konsert, som presenteras i samarbete med GAS-festivalen, inleder gruppen med James Tenneys Critical Band, följt av John Cages Hymnkus. Kvällen avslutas med en omarrangerad version av Lou Reeds noisekomposition Metal Machine Music: ett verk som förenade rundgångsdrone med spår av Beethovensymfonier och som gjorde rocksångaren Reeds fans både förbryllade och förbannade när det kom ut på 1970-talet.

Högskolan för scen och musik finns i centrala Göteborg och ingår i den Konstnärliga fakulteten vid Göteborgs universitet. Högskolans rika offentliga program sätter studenten i centrum och speglar utbildningarna i huset vid närmare 200 evenemang varje år i allt från soloframträdanden till fullskaliga sceniska produktioner.
