Kulturföreningen Smeden & Spindeln presenterar stolt: WORLD MUSIC CULTURE CLUB live@Smedjan, 4 mars kl. 21 (dörren öppnar kl. 19)
De spelar musik från många delar av världen. Den här kvällen möter vi Senegals nya löfte från griot-familjen Cissokho, Ibou Cissokho, koraspelare bosatt i Oslo och dessutom Rubens Millet Herrera en av världens bästa slagverkare från Guantanamo, Kuba, bosatt i Göteborg. Ankaret i gruppen är vittbereste basisten Stefan Bergman från kända grupper som Den Fule och Simbi. David Bäck som spelar piano och sjunger har turnerat i Afrika och Mellanöstern. Genom musiken berättar vi om våra resor runt om i världen. Ju mer man reser och lär känna olika kulturer desto mer inser vi att vi är lika i vår längtan efter glädje, gemenskap och kärlek.
