Sörmlands Veteranjärnväg är en ideell förening som driver Oxelösunds järnvägsmuseum. Som järnvägsföretag förkortas namnet till FSVJ och det är det namnet som syns på stationsskyltar på järnvägsstationerna. I bland står det även museitåg.
Vi arrangerar olika typer av resor med veterantåg på flera platser i Sverige, men vi utgår från Oxelösund där vi har vår fordonsdepå.
Resorna sker med Ångloksdragna tåg, Elloksdragna tåg med 40-50 tals lok och vagnar byggda på 1930-talet, eller med vår TGOJ rälsbuss X21 från 1950-talet. På tågen går det oftast att köpa gott fika.
Resorna är öppna för alla, Du behöver inte vara medlem i föreningen, men du får självklart stödja vår verksamhet med ett medlemskap. Läs mer på vår hemsida .
Tyvärr är de gamla personvagnarna inte tillgänglighetsanpassade. Det kan därför vara svårt att kliva in i tåget om du är beroende av rullstol.
Och till sist, Du är mycket välkommen att fota och titta på fordonen, men tänk på att inte springa framför lok och vagnar eller i spåren. Följ alltid personalens anvisningar.
