Arméns musikkår välkomnar tillbaka dirigent Jakob Hultberg för ett program av välkända och nutida blåsmusik.
Med sina drivande rytmer, exotiska lägen och citat från Dies Irae, blev det uppenbart att stycket jag skrev kunde representera en dans från de sista dagarna av den dödsdömda staden Pompeji.” Så skrev kompositören Frank Ticheli om sitt verk Vesuvius, vilket kommer att öppna konserten.Programmet innehåller även Gustav Holsts väsentliga verk Hammersmith: Prelude and Scherzo. Den beskriver Holsts uppskattning av Londons myllrande område Hammersmith. Den amerikanske kompositören Anthony Barfields verk ”Heritage” Concert for Euphonium är inspirerad av egyptisk kultur. Solist är kårens egen eufonist Andreas Holmlund.
Dirigent – Jakob Hultberg
Jakob Hultberg tog examen från dirigentlinjen vid Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium 2010. Redan under utbildningen var han assisterande dirigent för Det Kongelige Operas uppsättningar Tannhäuser, Lohengrin och The Rape of Lucretia. Förra säsongen dirigerade han Nötknäpparen och Svansjön för Det Kongelige Ballet. Av senare operor kan nämnas Prima la musica e poi le parole och Mozart och Salieri på Folkoperan i Stockholm, Hamlet in Absentia för Nordic Opera på Shakespearefestivalen i Helsingör 2016 samt urpremiären av Sol går op, sol går ned på Det Kongelige 2015.

I have not received my Vesuvius ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Vesuvius tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your Vesuvius tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
