Ett av landets mest energiska band, Västerbron, tillsammans med Sveriges nya supergrupp Bergen, gör ett exklusivt besök i Umeå

En poporkester med sin själ i punken, sitt hjärta i 90-talsindien och sin hjärna i någon slags skånsk emo. Ett av landets mer energiska liveband.. Bandets två tidigare album - "Idiotologi" och " Till vilket pris som helst" - har hyllats i press och bland bloggar. Med all rätt, det här är svensk musik i absolut toppklas, med en blandning av indiemelodier och punkenergi som träffar helt rätt.
Sedan starten har Västerbron gjort hundratals och åter hundratals spelningar – på allt från små svartklubbar, via gig ihop med band som Bob Hund och Hurula, till stora festivaler som by:Larm, Monsters of Rock och Umeå Open. På scen är Västerbron vid det här laget utan tvekan ett av Sveriges bästa liveband.
Med två album i ryggen har Västerbron redan lyckats etablera sig som en av de främsta samtidsskildrarna på den svenska indiescenen. Spektrumet av tidigare utforskade samhällsfenomen innebär allt från konsumtionshets till bekräftelsebehov och som en fortsättning på temat har det stockholmska skrammelkollektivet nu valt att gräva ner sig i flyktbeteende.

Bergen är mild medelåldersexistentialism med några stänk samhällskritik i en vacker väv av hela fyra vindlande gitarrer. Låtarna böljar soft och sömlöst mellan västkustpop, New York-rock, americana och ballader
Orkesterledaren Fredrik Norberg och trummisen P-A Wikander utgjorde halva Popsicle, Daniel Gilbert är bekant från Broder Daniel och Håkan Hellströms band, övriga har synts i bland annat Motorhomes och Pennebaker.
Debutalbumet släpps i april och dom spelar samma månad på Make it Sound. Missa inte!
