Description
Welcome to historical Varberg on September 23–24 and participate in Sweden's Road to Stahleck tournament for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game – Varberg Morghulis 2017!
The main event will be the joust tournament on Saturday. Apart from some great prize support for all participants and the top performing players will be a first-round bye and accomodation at the world's most prestigious A Game of Thrones tournament in Stahleck, Germany in November. We're still working on some nice surprises that we can't wait to tell you more about soon. On Sunday we'll run a special "The Lord of Light" tournament (with rules adapted from the 1.0 Hand of the King format) where you get to build a deck centered around the freshly released Beric Dondarrion! On Friday night we'll arrange a meetup for those who arrive early, to eat some food, play some board games and a participate in a 1.0 draft cube (with a limited number of seats – if you want to participate, please let us know in advance!). And if there's enough interest, we're also doing a 2.0 draft (cost for draft packs paid on site).
The joust tourney starts at 11:00am with registration starting at 10:00. Sunday's events start at 10.00am with registration at 9.30am.
Keep your eyes open on our Facebook page throughout the next few weeks to get a glimpse at our prize support!
We've been preparing all summer and can't wait to see you all in Varberg!
