Utopia Pop är en konsertserie där vi gör ett avsteg från jazzen och söker oss mot pop, även om musiken kan ha inslag av jazz. Vi kommer presentera spännande band eller akter som vi tycker passar in på vår lilla scen. Det kan vara etablerade akter eller helt nya.
Philip Ekström (The Mary Onettes) och Perkasus (Makthaverskan, School ´94)
För första gången tillsammans gör de en spelning på Utopia där låtar ur The Mary Onettes och Det Vackra Livets katalog blandas med Perkasus instrumentalmusik. Arrangemanget är intimt, experimentellt och avskalat med fokus på närvaro och enkelhet. Det blir ett ärligt uttryck som bärs fram av Pers egna gitarrspel och Philips text och sång.
