Välkommen till en utfärd i Hugo Hammarskjölds spår. Hugo Hammarskjöld (1845 – 1937) utbildade sig till arkitekt och ritade bland annat stationshusen och de flesta övriga byggnader längs smalspårsjärnvägen Hultsfred - Västervik. Byggnader som Fredensborgs herrgård och stadshotellet i Vimmerby är bland andra hans verk. Hugo Hammarskjöld kom att bli ägare till Tuna egendom, ämbetsman, statsråd m m.
Vi samlas kl. 8.30 vid Västervik station för färd mot Tuna med rälsbuss. Buss ansluter vid Tuna station kl. 9.45 och tar oss till Tuna gård och kyrka. Efter besöket där fortsätter färden till Väderum station och sedan till Fredensborgs herrgård. Bussen rullar därefter till stadshotellet i Vimmerby innan den vänder åter till Tuna station, där rälsbussen väntar för återfärd till Västervik dit vi återkommer kl. 17.30.
