Upploppet släpper sin debutskiva! Så det är alltså stor releasefest för denna! Varje gång jag sett Upploppet har det varit som det bästa rockbandet du någonsin sett fast trimmat långt bortom rimlighetens gränser och man har älskat varje sekund av det. Ja, jag har ett komplicerat förhållande till Göteborg. Men något jag kan ge den staden: De vet hur man öser och tar rocken på allvar.
Baby Jesus släppte en av årets (2023) bästa skivor: Rock n Roll Music. Alltså den heter så. Extremt framåtlutat, psykig orgel och suuuuuupertjackat uttryck. Gammalt möter nytt men frisyrerna är exakt så som du gissar: 70s fast med en sexig edge. Precis som musiken. Jisses.
Kiffe i Upploppet sa nämnde till mig att det blir tredje gången de spelar med Minimum Rage i Stockholm. Och jag sa till honom följande: Varför rucka på ett vinnande koncept? Här är ett band vars skjortor alla är uppknäppta, man sjunger och dansar lika mycket på golvet som på scenen och [extremt tysk röst] knows how to party.
