ULTRA SUNN är ett modernt EBM/Coldwave/New Beat-band från Bryssel, Belgien, som bildades i slutet av 2019 av frontmannen och multiinstrumentalisten Sam Huge och keyboardisten/producenten Gaelle Souflet.
År 2023 fick de sällskap på scenen av keyboardisten och slagverkaren Alexis Andrigo. ULTRA SUNN uttrycker en önskan om modernitet genom sina teman, nya sätt att närma sig ljud och samarbeten (Kontravoid, Kris Baha, Curses, Sarin) samtidigt som de är arvtagare till det berömda Sound Of Belgium och klassisk EBM.
ULTRA SUNN spelade regelbundet tillsammans med Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, DAF eller A Split Second. År 2020, med lanseringen av hiten ”Keep Your Eyes Peeled”, fick duon ett brett erkännande och erkännande och gjorde konserter över hela världen, från Bryssel till Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Calgary, Sao Paulo, Mexiko, Bogota, Berlin, London och många fler.
Bandet har redan släppt 3 EP:s med titlarna ”Night is Mine”, ”Body Electric” och ”Kill Your Idols”, som alla från deras aktiviteter inom klassisk konst och modevisningar, deras inspiration från New Beat och EBM inspirationer och deras önskan att skapa dansanta och lysande hymner om självförbättring, jämställdhet mellan könen och kampen mot ångest. Alltid med en inkluderande, kraftfull och positiv anda.
År 2023 skrev ULTRA SUNN ett världsomspännande multialbumkontrakt med det kanadensiska skivbolaget Artoffact Records och inledde sedan en turné i Latinamerika (Mexiko, Medellin, Bogota, Lima, Santiago, och Sao Paulo).
Duon annonserar sin första LP för april 2024 samt två USA-turnéer för våren och hösten 2024. Den första turnén inkluderar Sick New World Festival i Las Vegas och sedan Los Angeles, bandet kommer också att spela på västkusten för att avsluta i Vancouver, Kanada. Den andra turnén startar i New York, går längs östkusten till Florida och passerar sedan genom Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee bland annat, och avslutas i Chicago.
ULTRA SUNN är redan ombokade i Europa och kommer att stanna till på Orangerie, Botanique i Bryssel, i sin hemstad för att fira släppet av ”US”, deras efterlängtade första fullängdsalbum.
