Backstage Rockbar presenterar stolt ett av de främsta banden banden från NWOBHM-eran, Tygers of Pan Tang, bandet som en gång i tiden hade en gitarrist vid namn John Sykes som spelade på de klassiska plattorna "Spellbound" och "Crazy Nights" innan han gick vidare till Thin Lizzy.
Klassisk brittisk metal med gitarristen och riffmästaren Robb Weir i spetsen. Robb var med från starten 1978 fram till uppehållet 1982. Mellan 1985 och 1987 existerade en Weir-fri upplaga, men när gruppen återkom för en spelning på Wacken Open Air 1999 var både Robb och den klassiske sångaren Jess Cox tillbaka. Från och med 2000 har Tygers of Pan Tang varit aktiva och spelat live och släppt plattor. Debuten "Wild Cat" släpptes 1980 och till dags dato har bandet släppt tolv studioalbum. Den senaste fullängdaren heter "Ritual" och kom ut 2019, men så sent som i år släpptes EP:n "A New Heartbeat ".
