Teenage Engineering is a studio for future products, communications and entertainment.
VÄRLDSPREMIÄR - Teenage Engineering Sound System blandar musikskapande med skapande av musikinstrument, och demonstrerar ny teknik inför livepublik. På scen: OP-1, OP-12, OP-14, OP-16, oplab, OD-11 med flera, plus artister och musiker från Teenage Engineering Sound System all-star crew.
CHRIS OLSSON
Chris Olsson är artisten och musikmakaren som tidigare var frontfigur i Fibes, Oh Fibes! och som under de senaste åren figurerat som låtskrivare och producent på den internationella popscenen. Efter solodebuten i våras med singeln ”Thin Love” har Chris bl.a. spelat på Way Out West och slutfört arbetet på kommande soloplattan AYE AYE. Expressens Anders Nunstedt har kallat det ”strålande pop” och musiken har även beskrivits som ”John Lennon på syra återuppstår från de döda i Manchester 1992.” Lovande, helt klart.
VULKANO
Vulkano släpper "Iridescence” den 30 september – uppföljaren till debutalbumet "Live Wild Die Free”. Den 28 augusti släpps första singeln ”Smiley Faces” och i höst åker duon ut på USA-turné.
Vulkano gick in i studion med producenten Nille Perned (Kent, Broder Daniel, Amason m. fl.) för att göra ett nytt postpunk-album. Under processen gjorde de oväntade upptäckter och soundet tog en helt ny riktning än planerat. I vanliga fall består Vulkano av trummor, elbas, keyboard och gitarr. Nu åkte analoga synthar från 70- och 80-talet fram och ett elektroniskt Vulkano föddes. Bandet ser den här plattan som ett konstprojekt och musikexperiment. Cissi förklarar: "Vi tycker om att förnya oss. Vi kommer aldrig att kompromissa med vår kreativitet. Det är det enda sättet vi kan jobba."
TAXI TAXI!
Det har hunnit gå några år sedan systrarna Miriam och Johanna Tewolde Berhan släppte EP:n Taxi Taxi! (2007) och skivan Still standing at your back door (2009), båda via danska skivbolaget Rumraket. Sedan dess har de byggt upp en större, tyngre ljudbild och dessutom bjudit in fler musiker att delta i den konstnärliga processen.
STUDIO BARNHUS (DJ SET)
Studio Barnhus är ett musikband som startade 2010 och består av Petter Nordkvist, Axel Boman, och Kornél Kovács. De har alla tre haft kontakter i musik- och klubbvärlden i Stockholm och fick till slu kontakt med varandra. De började spela och producera musik tillsammans i en studio på Barnhusgatan vilket var startskottet för Studio Barnhus.
TUSSILAGO (DJ SET)
Stockholmskvintetten Tussilago består av Rickard Renström, Samuel Lundin, Andreas Sjöqvist, Pierre Riddez och Zacharias Zachrisson. Tillsammans skapar de drömsk och progressiv pop/rock, och genom sitt psykadeliska sound har de fångat uppmärksamhet internationellt och turnerat Sverige runt. Bandet är också välkända för sina exceptionella DJ skills och garanterar dans även på Trädgården den 3:e september.
