Prieš porą metų Klaipėdos šv.Pranciškaus Asyžiečio vienuolyne br. Benedikto ir VšĮ “Elgesio sprendimai” iniciatyva įkurta vasaros dienos stovykla “Rožių planeta” autistiškiems ir kitiems vaikams su raidos sutrikimais.
Tėvams, turintiems vaikų su raidos sutrikimais, vasara yra tikras iššūkis. Lietuvoje dar nėra pakankamai darželių ar dienos centrų, kurie galėtų priimti tokius vaikus. Taip pat labai trūksta specialistų, kurie turėtų atitinkamų žinių dirbti su specialių poreikių vaikais. Stovyklos įkūrėjų svajonė yra įkurti Sensorinį Sodą, kuriame vaikai galėtų įgyti darbinių ir socialinių įgūdžių.
Yra vaikų, kurie nekalba, todėl jiems labai padėtų alternatyvios komunikacijos programėlės. Gal kas turi namie nenaudojamų padėvėtų planšečių ir kompiuterių, vaikai tikrai labai būtų dėkingi už dovaną!
